DU and industry initiative for backward students

A-university interaction towards building industry relevant human resources bore fruit on Monday as the first batch of 80 SC/ST students completed their training under CII8217;s affirmative action programme, which was conducted in collaboration with NIIT and University of Delhi. The programme trains undergraduate students from disadvantaged sections of the society in, information technology, oral and written communication in English, career orientation and customer service soft skills; aimed at improving their employability by bridging background generated disparities in skills.
