Indian captain Rahul Dravid has upstaged South African Jacques Kallis to move into second position in the latest ICC Test batsmen8217;s rankings. The South African all-rounder paid the penalty for twin failures in the final Test against New Zealand at Johannesburg to drop a place, allowing Dravid to move a slot below to Australian skipper Ricky Ponting.

The top ten bowling rankings remain unchanged with Sri Lankan off spinner Mutthiah Muralitharan leading the pack, ahead of South African pacer Makhaya Ntini and the Aussie duo of Shane Warne and Glenn Mcgrath.

Anil Kumble maintained his ninth position in the bowlers8217; charts. The 2-0 series win over Stephen Fleming8217;s side took South Africa past NZ to fifth spot in team rankings. Australia remain well clear with 131 points, ahead of England 113, India 111 and Pakistan 109 with South Africa 101 moving four points clear of New Zealand.
