
PUNE, June 8: The Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) has opened a central control cell for the benefit of consumers.
In an official communique issued here, chief engineer Ashok Shinde stated that the control cell had been opened on account of the increased incidence of power failure during the monsoon period and to help to consumers register their complaints easily. The centre is functioning from the Ganeshkhind sub-station wireless messages control centre and consumers can get in touch on phone number 356008 for their grievances.
The other complaint centres functioning 24 hours include Rasta Peth Complaint Redressal Centre phone no 632078, Deccan Gymkhana 355307, Shivajinagar 323383, Swargate 540623, Kharalwadi (Pimpri) 773174 and Wadia 625777.
In case there is no redressal of the grievance, the consumers can get in touch with the officials of the executive engineers of the concerned division.
