Day 2: PEC Fest rocks on

Face Off, a group discussion. The afternoon session of the annual extravaganza witnessed a panel discussion by the Youth Parliament.

8216;Wordict8217; gave people a chance to unravel several word puzzles.

The quiz competition, Eureka, also witnessed great participation from the students.

Gautam Bose was the quizmaster of the day. Several other events had also been organised such as the couple football, tattoo making and face painting. People from all over crowded the PEC campus in the evening hours to witness the TNT Rock Nyt.

As many as 50 visually-impaired children from the Institute of Blind, Sector 26, were given access to the MI-26 Helicopter, AN-32 aircraft and IL-76 transport aircraft at 12-Wing, Air Force, Chandigarh, on Saturday. Under the aegis of the Air Force Wives8217; Welfare Association L, the programme intended to give these children the exposure to 8216;feel8217; the flying machines in close proximity. Before boarding the aircraft, the students touched various miniature models to get a feel of the structure of various aircraft. The children were also shown Radio communication and navigational systems at the Air Traffic Control Tower. Air Commodore S R K Nair said: 8220;We will present different aircraft models to the blind school so that the children can be enlightened about the aircraft used by the Indian Air Force.8221; Kulwinder 10 said: 8220;I never thought that I would be so close to a real aircraft. It is the experience of a lifetime.8221;
