Darbari Seth steps down

MUMBAI, Nov 18: Darbari Seth today stepped down from the boards of several Tata companies on completing what he described as quot;very active, very busy and fulfilling 55 years in Tatas.quot; Seth stepped down from the boards of Rallis India Ltd, Asian Coffee, Tata Tetley and Tata NYK Transport Systems.

However, he would continue as the chairman-emiretus of these companies, a statement from the Bombay House said. He also relinquished the post of director of the Great Eastern Shipping Company.. He is also chairman emeritus of Tata Chemicals and Tata Tea.
