Cyclist killed

CHANDIGARH, Feb 19: In a hit-and-run case, a cyclist was killed after he was reportedly hit by a truck near Transport light point here tonight. The deceased has been identified as Mauli Jagran resident Yam Krishan 50. The police have registered a case of causing death by negligent driving.

Elsewhere, two persons were injured in an accident between a scooter and a pedestrian near the PGI main gate. Yadwinder Singh and Bahgwant Kaur, both Manimajra residents, have been admitted to the PGI. A case has been registered.
