The last match of the day between an ageing Central Railway Mumbai Division CRMD squad and a youthful Akbar Travels was a humdinger. Skipper Maxwel J. Godwin scored the winning goal for Akbar Travels in the 46th minute but due credit should be given to the CRMD players for their large-hearted display. Quite a few chances went a begging for both sides as they attacked relentlessly but the opportunities created, were wasted. Goalkeeper Shibu Shanmugam brought off some splendid saves for the losers.
The Budweiser 8216;Man-of-the-Match8217; award winners were 8211; Richie Robert Mumbai Customs, Suvendu Hui Western Railway, Sarfaraz Ansari BMFC and Maxwell Godwin Akbar Travels.
