26-year-old murdered
The Dabhoi police recovered the body of an unidentified 26-year-old man from the banks of Narmada river, near Chandod village, on Wednesday morning. According to police, the deceased was brutally stabbed in the neck, chest and lower part of the abdomen.

Three dead
Three unnatural deaths were reported from different parts of the city on Wednesday. According to the police, one Sharmila Yadav died after she fell down from her flat in Shilalekh Apartment in Munjhmahuda. In another case, one Sitaram Ahir was run over by an unidentified vehicle in Panigate area. The Railway police said that the body of an unidentified man was found the railway track near Vadodara on Wednesday.

Cop held
The J P Road police arrested a constable working at Gorwa police station for allegedly consuming liquor and creating nuisance in a marriage party. According to the complainant Satish Thakkar, a resident of Ramdev Nagar, the cop, identified as Jethabhai Gohil, a resident of Bhutadijhapa, created nuisance at a marriage party on Wednesday evening under the influence of liquor.

Vehicles stolen
A Hero Honda motorcycle GJ-6-L-9920 and a Luna moped GJ-6-CC-1819 were reported stolen from Karelibaug and Makarpura area, respectively, on Wednesday.
