Breach of trust
The Limbayat police on Wednesday registered a case of criminal breach of trust and threatening to kill against Raju Kalu Ghachi of Valsad. Saiyed Hussain Saiyyed Ayub, a resident of Mithikhadi area of Limbayat, told the police in a complaint that Ghachi had bought his Tata 608 in January this year and still not paid the money. When asked for the money, he threatened to kill him, Ayub claimed. A case under sections 406 and 5042 of the IPC has been registered.

Vehicles stolen
A Yamaha motorcycle and a Bajaj scooter were reported stolen in separate incidents of vehicle theft on Thursday. Dharmesh Bhogilal Shah, a resident of Pratishtha Apartments at Parle Point, told the Chowk Bazaar police that his motorcycle GJ 5 R 9466 was stolen from Vada Chauta Main Road. In another case, a scooter GJ 5 H 6458 was stolen from opposite Surat Peoples Bank at Parsi Sheri. Omprakash Kishan, a resident of Cowasjeenagar lodged the complaint in the Chowk bazaar police station. Cases under IPC 379 have been registered.
