Man stabbed to death in Nangloi
Nangloi-resident Suresh Jain, a transporters8217; agent estimated to be around 28 and 30 years of age, was found stabbed to death at a bus stand on the old GTK road near Palla Morh yesterday. There were also injury marks on his throat. A case has been registered by the Alipur police.

Body recovered in Najafgarh
An unidentified male body bearing chest injuries has been recovered from a field at Surakhpur village. The Najafgarh police has registered a case of murder and have sought public assistance in identifying the body.The body is estimated to be that of a 25-30 year old man with a height 5 feet 8 inches. He had a wheatish complexion, was thinly built and clad in a pink-striped white shirt and brown trousers.

Man held for picking pockets
A pickpocket was today apprehended by a PCR van near the GTB intersection. The arrest came about after a commotion emanating from a DTC bus made HC Manohar Lal, CT Jagbir Singh and ASI Dharam Pal chase the man, later identified as Seelampur-based Muhammad Yasheed, who was fleeing after stealing a commuter8217;s wallet. The wallet was restored to its righful owner Pratap Singh and the criminal handed over to the Mukherjee Nagar police.
