One booked for assault on woman
A resident of Panchkula, resident, Vineet Sapru, has been booked for allegedly assaulting a woman and trespassing into her house. Police said the Sector 44 resident reported that Sapru trespassed and assaulted her. While the police have registered a case, no arrests have been made. Further invesigations are continuing.

Two arrested for sexual harassment
Two residents of S.A.S Nagar, Satinder Singh and Parminder Singh, allegedly tried to outrage the modesty of a woman of the township. The woman had come to attend a function at Sector 26 Technical Teachers Training Institute TTTI, where she was assaulted. When she resisited their attempts, the accusaed threatened her of dire consequences. The police have arrested the two accused and are investigating into the matter.
