Hit-and-run case: 1 held
An unidentified woman was injured when she was reportedly hit by a gypsy being driven by Surinder Kumar of Hoshiarpur district. The driver has been arrested. 5 arrested n city police have arrested five pesons on the charges of eve-teasing from Manimajra. According to police sources, Amardeep Singh, Deepak Sehgal, Himat Mehta, pawandeep and Ankuj all residents of chandigarh 8212; riding three scooters chased a family coming on two scooters from nada Sahib.

Colonel8217;s Maruti car stolen
A white-coloured Maruti 800 deluxe car CHO 1X 3556 belonging to Col K. S. Dhillon was stolen from outside the gurdwara in Sector 34 yesterday. The police have registered an FIR.

Bicyle recovered
Vinod Singh of Bihar has been arrested for allegedly stealing a cycle which has been recovered from his possession.

Thief held
City police has arrested a Sector 7 resident Sham lal for allegedly stealing water taps from sector 8, on a complaint registered by sector 8 resident Mohinder Kumar.

Gas cylinder stolen from Sec 15
Two persons allegedly broke the lock of a sector 15 house of Daljit Kaur and made off with a gas cylinder and gas stove on their scooter. The police have registered a case.
