
MUMBAI, December 2: Suburban services on the harbour line of Central Railway CR were disrupted today afternoon following a point failure near Kurla railway station.
According to the railway police control, the point a place where two rails converge to form a cross-over failed at about 1.25 pm, disrupting services up to 2 pm.
Locals were lined up one after the other near Chembur, Tilak Nagar and Govandi stations, and commuters took to the tracks as no announcements were made.
After the point failure was set right at about 2 pm, locals towards Khandeshwar and CST were still running late by over 30 minutes.
