Vedanta, according to its website, is a leading metals group, with aluminium, copper, zinc and lead as major metals of interest. It is a non-ferrous metal group.
The Indian Express replies: Vedanta is not a steel giant. However, it does have interests in steel so it would be incorrect to say that it is a non-ferrous metal group.
