Cops honoured for busting gang

PATIALA, Sept 26: The Citizens Council organised a special function here to honour police officials involved in busting the kalay kachchayan wala gang in Patiala district in the recent past.

The function was organised at Bindel Steel Tube Industries. Those honoured include Rajinder Singh, DIG computers, Kewal Kumar, Superintendent of Police detective, Inspector Jaswinder Singh Mangat, Harpreet Singh Sidhu, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, and B.K. Uppal, Superintendent of Police vigilance.

DIG Rajinder Singh said the police-public relationship needs to be improved further, which needs proper efforts from both sides.
