Tanya Mittal says she ‘never claimed to have 150 bodyguards’, shows off her pharma factory: ‘Main actor bannewali hoon’

Tanya added that while she does have personal security, it has been in place for a long time. “I have had bodyguards for many years,” she said, without specifying numbers.

Tanya Mittal emerged as one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss 19 thanks largely due to her bold statements and claims about owning multiple factories and lavish properties in Gwalior. While her assertions often made her the centre of attention—and at times the subject of ridicule inside the house and online—Tanya has now decided to set the record straight by giving fans a glimpse into her real life outside the reality show.

After previously opening the doors to her home, Tanya recently took the News Pinch team on a tour of her pharmaceutical factory, where contraceptives are manufactured and supplied to several Indian brands. The visit, according to her, was meant to validate the faith her supporters placed in her during her Bigg Boss journey.

During the factory tour, Tanya also addressed one of the most widely discussed controversies from the show—her alleged claim of having 150 bodyguards. Clarifying the statement, she firmly denied ever making such a claim.

“I never said this,” Tanya Mittal stated, adding, “There is no clip where you can hear Tanya Mittal saying she has 150 bodyguards. These things were self-made. You won’t find a single clip on the internet where I say I have 150 bodyguards. Zeeshan was joking about it. I had told him that I have over 150 staff members, and he turned it into bodyguards.”

Tanya added that while she does have personal security, it has been in place for a long time. “I have had bodyguards for many years,” she said, without specifying numbers.

Speaking about her businesses, Tanya revealed, “I have a textile factory, a pharma factory and a gift factory. But honestly, I can’t show you everything. The only reason I agreed to give a house tour or a factory tour is to prove that my supporters were not liars—and that I never lied.”

During the walkthrough, Tanya Mittal showed different departments of the pharmaceutical unit, including the laboratory, testing sections and large-scale manufacturing machinery. She also mentioned that the equipment used at the facility is imported. “All these machines are imported from Malaysia,” she claimed, adding that the factory employs women for general shifts, while male staff members work night shifts.

As the conversation progressed, Tanya also hinted at the next phase of her career. “I have become an actress now,” she said confidently, adding, “Ekta Kapoor has offered me a new serial. Now I’m conscious about my diet.”

Tanya Mittal had earlier gone viral after claiming that her bodyguards helped save hundreds of lives during a stampede-like situation at the Maha Kumbh. The statement, first made on Bigg Boss and later reiterated in multiple interviews as her popularity surged, sparked widespread online scrutiny.
