Cop suspended for creating nuisance8217;

Chandigarh, Aug 2: A police constable was suspended and two others arrested while they were allegedly creating nuisance under the influence of liquor, here today.

SP Headquarters Baldev Singh placed constable Amrik Singh under suspension and ordered a departmental inquiry against him. Amrik Singh was posted at the Police Control Room and deployed in Sector 19. The police got a complaint that Amrik Singh, along with Ram Bhagat and Ram Karan was drinking at a house in Sector 20 at around 10.30 am. A case under the Excise Act has been registered against the two.
