MUMBAI, July 26: Rashid Byramji-trained Continual hacked the opposition in the 1600 metres Dashmesh And Hargobind Stud Million, a rich terms race for three-year olds, the feature event of the Bangalore races held here on Sunday.The Placerville-Cordon Blue gelding Continual lived upto the hype that he is the best three-year old in the country by the manner in which he had the measure of such seasoned campaigners as Running Flame and Stormy Warrior, in an excellent timing of one minute 38.1 seconds without being fully stretched.Jockey Ruzzan had difficulty in keeping Continual in the third position as the Placerville progeny, not tolerating the pace, dragged himself to the front inside the final 500 metres and sped away for an effortless win over Running Flame who staved off the challenge of Stormy Warrior for the second place."What Continual did today was brilliant but he has a long way to go before he can be spoken in terms of him being another Elusive Pimpernel or Adler.
