The institute has also issued guidelines for candidates seeking corrections in the Class 10 and Class 12 results. As per these guidelines, students can apply for result correction within 30 days from the date of declaration of the public examination results. A fee of Rs 50 per correction request is applicable.

During the application process, candidates are required to select the type of correction from the available options, which include:

–Practical marks not reflected in the result

–Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) marks not included

–Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks are missing

–Incorrectly marked as absent in theory

After choosing the correction type, students must proceed to the payment gateway and pay the processing fee to complete the request.

NIOS Class 10th, 12th rechecking and re-evaluation

Candidates who wish to apply for rechecking or re-evaluation of their NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 results can do so by following the notified fee structure. For the public examination, the rechecking fee is Rs 400 per subject for both Secondary and Senior Secondary courses, while the re-evaluation fee is Rs 1,000 per subject.

In the case of the on-demand examination, the rechecking fee remains Rs 400 per subject, but the re-evaluation fee is Rs 1,200 per subject. Additionally, an online processing charge of Rs 50 will be applicable for each request.
