The Congress in a seat sharing arrangement with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for the Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, has in its third list for 47 seats, released on Saturday, left three seats — Chandrapur, Samri and Manendragarh — for the NCP. Local Congress leaders in these constituencies have aired their resentment against the decision.The Congress confirmed on Sunday that former CM Ajit Jogi will contest the polls from Marwahi.
