Cong, CPI-M slam NDA protest march

Congress on Thursday dubbed as ‘‘doublespeak’’ the protest march by the NDA leaders. ‘‘Perhaps they have not overcome their defeat,’’ Congress spokesman Anand Sharma said.

The CPI(M) also virtually defended the inclusion of ‘‘tainted’’ ministers in the UPA government, saying keeping the BJP ‘‘out of power’’ was more important. ‘‘Let the people who are in the government decide on its formation. We want a secular government,’’ party politburo member Sitaram Yechuri said. — (PTI)
