Comfortable win for IAF

NEW DELHI, June 23: Last year8217;s losing finalists Indian Air Force New Delhi began their campaign in the Delhi Soccer Association DSA-SAIL Senior Division Football League Championships here on Tuesday with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Garhwal Heroes in Group A at the Ambedkar Stadium here.

All the IAF goals came in the first half, in the space of 15 minutes. Airmen8217;s inside-right Robin Adhikari put the side in front witha goal in the eighth minute. Left-in Ibadat Hussain increased the lead in the 15th minute while outside-right Tarak Nath Dey 20th minute and Robin Adhikari 23rd minute completed the tally.
