Coca Cola India has plans underway to introduce newer beverages like tea and 100 per cent juices besides expanding its bottled water producing capacity to meet increasing demand.

8220;We are looking at all categories of commercial beverages. We want to bring high quality products,8221; said Coca Cola India president Alex von Behr on the sidelines of CII8217;s Marketing Summit.

Behr, however, declined to divulge details about the future products nor gave a timeframe for their launch. He said the company was confident of overtaking Bisleri and emerging as the leader in the domestic bottled water segment this year. 8220;We have made very good progress over the last few months and we are optimistic that over the next few months, we can be number one,8221; he said adding the company has broken even on its investments in the water business.

Quoting market research firm ORG-Marg data, he said Coca Cola8217;s water brand Kinley currently has a 33 per cent market share as compared to market leader Bisleri which commands a 36 per cent share.

Predicting a double-digit growth of the domestic water market, Behr said both Coca Cola and its co-packers would be investing in expanding bottling capacities as it was currently working at full capacity.

The company is also looking at increasing the number of its bottling plants from the current 10. He said the non-carbonated drinks would account for 25 per cent of Coca Cola8217;s revenues in the next five years.
