After their win in Toronto, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi find themselves in a near similar draw at the Cincinnati Masters. Seeded eighth, the duo are scheduled to begin on Thursday, up first against an unseeded pair.

A win would then would find them against either the Argentines Etlis/Rodriguez or the Bahamas-Canada pair Mark Knowles/Daniel Nestor in the last eight. Semis then could mean playing the American Bryan brothers 8212; one of the main contenders for the Athens crown.

The draw once again would mean that barring the Czechs or the Americans, Lee and Hesh will not be pitted against Olympic teams.

Meanwhile, title No. 23 at Toronto has helped Paes push his ATP doubles ranking to 20 from 29, while Mahesh kept his No. 5 rank.
