BANGALORE, JULY 12: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna today said he has briefed Union Home Minister L K Advani about the situation in the wake of blasts in three churches in the state in the last one month.

Krishna told reporters here that he spoke to Advani on Tuesday and discussed the situation with him.

He said the state corps of detectives COD was functioning in coordination with the CBI in its probe into the bomb attacks on churches at Wadi in Gulbarga district in June and in Hubli on Saturday and in Bangalore the next day.

Asked if there was an intelligence failure, he shot back: 8220;How would you have reacted to the same situation?8221; noting that here were 250 churches in bangalore.
