With his party witnessing a depletion in ranks in Uttar Pradesh, former Pradesh Congress president Salman Khursheed is strongly pitching for the tribe of bird catchers. When one of them was 8220;harassed8221; by an animal rights organisation, Khursheed argued his case in the Delhi High Court and won his acquaintance a reprieve. Now that the 8220;bird catcher8221; has decided to claim damages, again in the high court, Khursheed is determined to make an appearance in black robes again. Considering that his party is not exactly buzzing with activity in his state, he may well cast the net wide; there could be more bird catchers8212; and watchers8212;waiting in the wings.
