
CHANDIGARH, Sept 3: The City police have registered a case of cheating and forgery against the chairman of a Delhi based trust and six others, on a complaint of K. N. Dubey, chairman of the Blood Diseases Hospital Society, Sector 23.
According to police sources, Dubey alleged that the accused persons had 8220;forged and fabricated documents8221;, saying that they had loaned out Rs 45 lakh for the hospital where as the money was actually loaned by one Pavitra Cooperative Housing Society.
The complainant alleged that his signatures had been forged on a receipt for Rs 20 lakh. The police have registered a case.
