On a promotional tour that ended today in Lucknow as strike was called off, Kelkar hoped the 8216;break8217; wouldn8217;t affect the TRP of the sole serial he is doing these days.

8220;People were keenly following Saat Phere and they must be waiting to know what happens next,8221; he says dropping a bombshell.

8220;They are going to kill me in next few episodes.8221; So will he follow the trend and disappear only to reappear? 8220;That8217;s not decided as of yet,8221; says Kelkar who has made a mark on screen as the typical good husband.

8220;Nahar has given me an identity,8221; he says accepting gracefully he is not doing other serials as interesting offers aren8217;t coming.

8220;Besides, I am not comfortable doing many roles at a time,8221; says Kelkar who started off with Aakrosh on Doordarshan.

8220;It was followed by Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Saat Phere and Nach Baliye,8221; he lists announcing in bold he is open to films. 8220;Every actor would want to work in a movie and I am also looking forward for my debut on the big screen,8221; he says as a call from wife Kirti Gaekwad breaks the news that strike is off.

Kirti, also a TV star played Niharika in Sindoor. 8220;We did Nach Baliye together and were dubbed as the cutest couple,8221; Kelkar recalls acknowledging the role of both the women in his life. 8220;Had my mother not pushed me to come to Mumbai I would have been a gym instructor,8221; says Kelkar who is from Gwalior.

8220;After my graduation and then MBA, I began teaching physical education back home when Grasim Mr India 2002 happened and since then there have been no looking back,8221; says Kelkar whose talent won him modeling assignments including some ad campaigns with Prahlad Kakkar. Often dubbed as a charmer in real and reel life, Kelkar admits he is a loving husband in real life too. 8220;But the actor in me is waiting to play another negative character,8221; signs off the bad guy of Sinndoor.
