Changes in Plus One exam date-sheet

CHANDIGARH, Feb 18: UT Education Department has made some changes in the exam date-sheet of Plus One science and commerce streams.

The date for Physics exam has been changed from March 12 to March 13. The earlier date-sheet which had already been dispatched to schools, was changed to avoid a clash with the Hindi paper of the Punjab School Education Board as some students had opted for Hindi as an additional subject. 8220;As none of our students is appearing for Punjabi, we have not changed the other dates. The change was made after we got a letter from Model School, Sector 10 specifying the problem,8221; said DEO, Brahamjit Kalia. He added that the exams will commence from March 6 and will continue till March 19. English will be the first exam. He said that about 6,000 candidates will appear for the exams.
