Hasina rules out mediation
Bangladesh today virtually dispelled IndiaAtilde;shy;s apprehension that it sought to play a mediatory role between India and Pakistan and endorsed New Delhi8217;sview that bilateral matters should be dealt with by the countries concerned themselves. At her talks with Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, Bangladesh Premier Sheikh Hasina is understood to have said that she was in agreement with the view that there was no room for a third-party involvement in bilateral matters of the two countries, a report from New Delhi says.

Central team to visit Bihar
