BJP, allies win 85 seats, ahead in another 185
BJP and its allies won 85 of 134 seats for which results were declared till 11 p.m. and were leading in another 185 of a total of 509 seats for which trends were available.

Congress and its poll allies, on the other hand, had won 41 seats and were ahead in 97, while left candidates were declared elected in three seats and were leading in 37 Lok Sabha constituencies. Other parties had secured five seats and had established lead in 56 others.
