The guns continued to remain silent across the IB, LoC and the AGPL for the second day on Thursday. It is understood that the two sides are also finalising the modalities of the ceasefire. South Block sources say the Director General of Military Operations had discussions with his Pak counterpart. An Army spokesman said: ‘‘There has been no major flare-up.As of now, there is no move to increase the interaction between the two DGMOs.’’
