
CHANDIGARH, Sept 7: The result of the All India Secondary/ Senior School Certificate first chance compartment examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE were declared on Saturday.
According to an official release, of the total 5,157 students who appeared for the Class X examination from the region, 2,312 have passed, thus giving a pass percentage of 44.83 per cent. Of the total 3,728 students who appeared for the Class XII examination, 2,201 have passed thus giving a pass percentage of 59.03 per cent. The region includes affiliated schools of the board in Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
While result card and marks statement to outstation schools have been despatched, local schools have been asked to depute an authorised person to collect result sheets along with marks statement personally from the office. The marks statements of private candidates have also been sent directly to them.
