CHANDIGARH, Feb 5: As part of its special drive, the Central Bureau of Investigation CBI and the UT Home department, today, conducted a joint raid at the Sector 32 Government Medical College and Hospital.

The raiding team reached the hospital around noon and continued their quot;checkquot; till 8.30 p.m.

The officials said that they wanted to conduct a quot;surprise checkquot; of the stores on the fourth floor of the hospital building.

According to CBI sources, the Government of India had issued instructions to the CBI to carry out raids on Central Government offices. Among other offices raided over the past few days includes the telecom department office. They said, irregularities, if any would be determined by tomorrow.
