MUMBAI, JAN 17: Catholic Gymkhana8217;s spin duo of left arm spinner Sandeep Jadhav and off spinner Gaurang Chavan restricted Islam Gymkhana to 219 on the first day of the two-day match in the BICHIP Under-22 cricket tournament sponsored by Oriend Ships and conducted by Bombay Gymkhana at Kennedy Sea Face on Monday.

Jadhav finished with 4 for 69 while Chavan took 3 for 18. At close of play, Catholic Gymkhana were 111 for three, after openers Abhijit Patil 30 and Vijay Singh 22 gave them a flying start by putting on 53 runs in just 5.5 overs.
