Camp BJP all smiles

Buoyant after the exit poll projections on Wednesday, the BJP convened a meeting of senior party leaders for tomorrow to finalise its campaign strategy.

The meeting, to be held at party chief M. Venkaiah Naidu8217;s residence, is likely to be attended by L.K.Advani. The party8217;s renewed confidence was reflected in the rhetoric of party general secretary Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. He claimed the Congress was heading for a hat-trick of defeats under Sonia Gandhi8217;s leadership. Taking a cue from Sonia8217;s demand for the disclosure of the name of Vajpayee8217;s successor, Naqvi asked the Congress to name her successor.
