
PUNE, May 10: Eager faces, nimble fingers and razor sharp minds. All these were amply evident amongst the youngsters who participated in the computer awareness camp organised by the Young Express Club in association with the NIIT at Aurora Towers, Camp and at Aundh on Sunday.
The day long camp was divided into two sessions with 40 children in the age group of five to 15 present for each session. 8220;The idea was to familiarise the children with graphic packaging, multi media and some educational programmes on CD-Roms,8221; says Atul Hiranwar, a co-ordinator for the camp.
The response to the programme 8211; a first of its kind 8211; was tremendous with the children thoroughly enjoying the three to four hours of exclusive time on the computer with guidance being extended by the NIIT staff.
A similar camp will be held on the coming Sunday on May 17 at the NIIT centres on Senapati Bapat Road and in Deccan for members of Young Express Club.
