Breakthrough in Aggarwal murder case

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICEMUMBAI, April 30: The police have achieved a breakthrough in the Pappu Aggarwal murder case according to Zone III DCP Shrikant Savarkar who informed today that the police have been able to establish the Manchekar gang8217;s involvement in the killing.

The well-known builder and Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Transport Committee member was shot dead in broad day light when he was on his way to the temple on April 14. The police team which gave chase to the killers was able to nab only one assailant while two accomplices had managed to escape. The assailant had given his name as Deepak Jadhav. 8220;The investigating team which went to Ratnagiri found that the accused had misled them by giving the wrong address,8221; Savarkar said.
