MUMBAI, DEC 2: Don Bosco Matunga, who had scored a 21-goal victory yesterday, today defeated St Theresa8217;s Bandra 15-0 in the under-16 MSSA-Colgate Inter-School hockey tournament at the St Andrew8217;s ground, Bandra, today.

Baptist D8217;Souza 3, Nigel D8217;Souza 2, Appachhu Boverianda 2, Girish Pimpale 2, Rambahadur Singh 2, Shermin Rodrigues 2, Keegan Gonsalves and Shanawaz Bangera were the goal-getters for the Matunga team.

AVM prevail

Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra prevailed 19-15 over The Scholar in a low-scoring but tight match in the Colgate-MSSA Inter-School basketball tournament at the School Sports Centre court, Azad Maidan here today. Scholar were down 6-12 athalf time and made a great fight of it, scoring 9 points but AVM showed better all-round consistency.
