Book released

Chandigarh, 30: The Environment Society of India ESI released a book quot;Sustainable business: Economic development and environmentally sound technologiesquot;, published by Regency Corporation Limited in association with United Nations Environment Programme UNEP, recently.

S.K.Sharma, president of local chapter of Environment Society of India, said that the 273-page book deals with the review of the existing technologies for the prevention and control of pollution, energy efficiency and cleaner production. It also examines issues of financing, technology transfer, assessment and information.

The book will be available at ESI, Karuna Sadan, Sector 11 Sharma said.
