Book fair for students

PANCHKULA, Sept 11: A two-day book fair has been organised at Satluj Public School in Sector 4 for the students.

The book fair has been organised by Scholastic India, a subsidiary of Scholastic USA. Colourful books are on display to lure children and even the tiny tots towards reading. Bright coloured books with illustrations and pictures on various subjects, including science and mathematics are also available.

Educational coordinator of Scholastic India Anuradha Khanna said,quot;It is not that there has been a decline in the reading habit of the children, if given the right kind of books, which are colourful yet educational and deal with the subjects children normally don8217;t feel comfortable with, the interest in studies and reading can be developedquot;.
