CHANDIGARH, Feb 19: The outgoing Class XII of the Institute for the Blind, Sector 26, was given a farewell on the campus, today.

The juniors organised a cultural programme on the occasion, including a play Rayee da Paharh, written by famous playwright Balwant Gargi, and directed by J. B. S. Sodhi. Besides speeches and songs like Manzilen apni jagah hain8230; and Kitni jaldi yeh din beet jate hain8230;, a skit was performed by two Class XI students, Amit and Harpinder.

The function was presided over by chairman of the managing committee, Maj Gen. Rajendra Nath, PVSM retd.. The students were also given prizes for their performances on the occasion.
