December 11, 2000 (ODI v Zimbabwe): Ganguly breaches Code 2,3 & 4, showing dissent. Match Referee hands him 1-match ban and 2-match suspended ban

June 9, 2001 (Test v Zim): Ashish Nehra banned from bowling after running on the pitch. Umpire Daryl Harper passed the verdict after two warnings.

July 26, 2001 (ODI v NZ): Ganguly found guilty of dissent by match referee Cammie Smith. Upon being given out LBW he raised his bat and left the pitch shaking his head. Banned for one ODI.

August 1, 2001 (Test v SL): Ganguly found guilty after gesturing and speaking to Russell Arnold after dismissing. Issued a severe reprimand and fined 75 per cent of his match fee.

November 16-20, 2001 (Test v SA): Tendulkar suspended for 1 Test match for ball-tampering by Match Referee Mike Denness. Sehwag banned for 1 Test for excessive appealing and attempting to intimidate the umpire. Ganguly slapped suspended sentence (one Test match ban and two ODIs) for failure to control the players.

December 26, 2002 (Test v NZ): Team fined 35 per cent of its match fee for slow over rate during New Zealand’s first innings.

December 8, 2003 (Test v Aus): Ganguly fined 10 per cent of his match fees while the team 5 per cent for slow over rate

January 22, 2004 (ODI v Aus): Ganguly fined 80 per cent of his match fee while rest of the team penalised 15 per cent of their match fees for slow over rate
