PUNE, Oct 29: Union Home Minister L K Advani8217;s reported statement that the Centre would again recommend imposition of President8217;s rule in due course of time was a political gimmick, according to Janata Dal leader Ram Vilas Paswan.

8220;The BJP-led coalition government does not have the courage to dismiss the Bihar Government because it will mean putting its own government at stake,8221; Paswan told reporters here last night before leaving for Karad to attend a rally there.

8220;If the government was really serious in dismissing the Bihar Government then what was preventing it from sending the cabinet recommendation for the second time?,8221; he asked.

According to Paswan, had the President accepted the recommendation of central rule in Bihar, it would have opened a Pandora8217;s Box, with AIADMK leader, Jayalalitha orchestrating a similar demand for dismissal of the Tamil Nadu Government.

His party was fully in favour of dismissal of the Bihar Government which, he alleged, was reeking of corruption. 8220;Corruption and communalism are two sides of the same coin and one cannot be used to counter another,8221; Paswan said.

Paswan said the BJP-led government, which had provided several assurances, had failed on all fronts and was now a 8220;daily wage government8221; which could be ousted any moment.
