
P&G to launch new brands
NEW DELHI: FMCG major, Procter & Gamble is likely to route new brand launches in India through its fully-owned subsidiary P&G Home Products instead of its other subsidiary listed on the country’s bourses. The parent company prefers to route new products in future through P&G Home Products, the wholly-owned subsidiary of P&G, Sumeet Vohra, brand manager of the company said. However, he added that the company currently did not have any plans to bring in any new brands to India. P&G brands like Ariel, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Pampers and Camay are with P&G Home Products.
RPG to offer ESOP in 25 group cos
MUMBAI: The Rs 6,400 crore RPG enterprises is planning to offer its employees in the 25-odd group companies an employee stock option plan (ESOP) in a bid to attract, nurture and retain talent.
The ESOP, to be ushered in a phased manner over a two-year period, will encompass all the 60,000 employees in all the group companies, both listed and unlisted. “We wantto stagger the implementation of the ESOP over a two-year period and are working out the modalities of the scheme which will be announced in due course,” RPG enterprises chief finance officer, H L Mundra said.
IMT launches website
MUMBAI: In order to give people across the globe access to the election information, Interactive Multimedia Technologies Pvt Ltd (IMT) is launching a web site called chunav99.com. The company, headed by Hetin Sakhuja, will also be marketing new media solutions as web-sites, diskette presentations and CD-roms.
