MUMBAI: Bajaj Auto has rolled out Legend8217;, the world8217;s first geared four-stroke scooter, at its Akurdi plant near Pune. This would put Bajaj ahead of other international scooter manufacturers in product innovation and technology. Legend8217;s 150 cc all aluminum engine develops 9 HP making it the most powerful scooter on the Indian roads with a top speed of 90 kmph.

MUMBAI: Colgate-Palmolive India has recommended a 17 per cent final dividend for the year ended March 1998. Announcing its first quarter results, the company saidthat marketing investments almost doubled over the corresponding quarter last year.
Tata Tea
MUMBAI: The net profit of Tata Tea Limited shot up to Rs 39.10 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs 7.82 crore during the corresponding period last year. Total income of the company also showed a significant rise as it rallied to Rs 225.04 crore from Rs 217.48 crore.
