MUMBAI: The board of directors of Castrol India Ltd has decided to pay a special dividend of Rs 10 per share 100 per cent to all shareholders whose names appear in the register of members on February 29, 2000. The payment of this special dividend is in line with the company8217;s strategy to deliver value to shareholders by actively managing its asset base, a company release said here today.
Bank of Punjab to enter insurance
MUMBAI: Bank of Punjab is currently working on a strategic tie-up subject to Reserve Bank of India approval for entering into the insurance sector which is presently in the process of being opened up to the private sector. IIIE award for UB group chairman
MUMBAI: The Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering IIIE has conferred the quot;Outstanding chief executiveawardquot; for 1998-99 to UB group chairman Vijay Mallya for his professional eminence and contribution to industrial engineering and productivity.
