SBI promotes leasing as a lending instrument
The local head office of State Bank of India today organised a presentation on leasing, a relatively new funding mode, for the benefit of corporates in the region. The presentation was made by S.K. Jilani, the chief general manager, Leasing Group, State Bank of India, Mumbai. In his inaugural address, General Manager Commercial Banking R.K. Masand, said that current business dynamics had compelled the Indian companies to look for new methods to finance their assets.
