Bindra, Tejaswini win gold

On his first outing after a nine-month injury lay-off, Abhinav Bindra returned with a bang. His score of 697.7 594103.7 got him the gold medal in the men8217;s 10m air rifle event at the Australia Cup today.Among other Indians, PT Raghunath, with a score of 696.6, missed the bronze by a whisker and finished fourth. Gagan Narang finished fifth with 695.2 593102.2, Sanjeev Rajput was 15th with 587, while Navnath Fartarde shot 586 to end 16th in a field of 27. Among the women, Tejaswini Sawant won her second gold by winning the 10m air rifle event. She scored 498.7 points 397101.7. Meena Kumari won the bronze with 497.8 points 395102.8, while Anjali Bhagwat was fourth with a score of 497 395102.
