Bill Gates likely to visit India

NEW DELHI, AUG 1: Microsoft chief and the worldacirc;euro;trade;s richest man Bill Gates would visit India in September. Gatesacirc;euro;trade;s second visit to India in less than two years has been planned to coincide with Microsoftacirc;euro;trade;s 10 years of existence in India, top company sources told PTI today.

Although the tour programme has not yet been finalised, during his visit he would spend most of his time in the capital. Gates is expected to unveil the companyacirc;euro;trade;s internet strategy with customers, partners, developers and key government officials in the capital.

The visit of Gates is being viewed with great interest by industry analysts.
